Floor Systems began in 1993 as a sole proprietorship owned by Don Land.
Don, who was famously known for carpet cleaning while wearing a necktie, built his business in this area for over 30 years.
His many repeat customers are a testament to his work.
When Don sought to retire in 2024, he mentored Tyler Battaglia to continue his legacy of customer service.
Don had been Tyler's family's carpet cleaner for more than a quarter century, and Don had watched Tyler grow into adulthood.
In 2024, Floor Systems LLC was created and new, state-of-the-art equipment was purchased.
Tyler, a Waynesboro native, built upon the business Don created by becoming an IICRC Certified Carpet Cleaner, learning the science of stain removal, the formulary of specific treatments to address areas of concern, and to preserve the integrity of the area rugs, carpeting, and upholstery entrusted to his care.
